Vietnam airlines decided Friday to decrease the cost of extra payments the carrier had added to its domestic flights when fuel prices hiked recently.
The extra payments of VND180,000 (US$10.8) per one-way seats on the Hanoi-HCMC, HCMCHai Phong, Hanoi-Nha Trang, Hanoi-Da Lat, Hanoi-Buon Ma Thuot, HCMC-Vinh, Hanoi-Can Tho and HCMC-Dong Hoi flights have been lowered to VND150,000 ($9).
The VND110,000 ($6.6) extra payments for Hanoi-Da Nang, HCMC-Da Nang, Hanoi-Hue, HCMC-Hue, HCMC-Pleiku and HCMC-Chu Lai flights are now VND100,000 ($6)/ticket/way.
The civil aviation agency said the extra payments would be cut next Thursday.
