Miss Universe contestants take part in charitable activities

Five contestants in the Miss Universe Pageant have visited patients who are under the care and treatment of volunteer doctors and physicians on the USNS Mercy ship in Nha trang city

These misses are Crystle Steward (the US), Samantha Tajik (Canada), Siera Robertson (Guam), Jenifer Barrientos (the Philippines) and Simran Kaur Mundi (India).

All of them are in Vietnam for the first time and are impressed by the beautiful landscapes in the country.

At the clinics, they talked happily with patients who were being given check ups and treatment by the volunteers on the USNS Mercy hospital. On June 20 and 21, the doctors provided free health care and medicine for more than 2000 local people.

The misses and other candidates will take part in the Miss Universe Pageant final to be held in Nha trang city on July 14.
